THE RESONANCE OF RAW

The resonance of raw is an ongoing experiment-based design research, in which the properties of braided structures are studied and transferred to other analogous processes.

Coupled with glass, a seemingly op- posing raw material, the findings on the characteristics of different wicker- work led to a collection of tactile glass objects, made in woven moulds that stood up to the heat of the glassmaking process. The natural abrasion of the raw material became the means of design for the pieces, whose texture allow to understand the origin of its creation.
